E-signature

An e-signature is a digital equivalent of a handwritten signature used to sign documents electronically.

An e-signature (electronic signature) is a legally binding digital method for signing documents without paper. In B2B SaaS, e-signatures are used to close deals faster by allowing customers to sign contracts and order forms online.

Example: After a sales call, the AE sends a contract via DocuSign. The customer signs electronically in minutes, and the subscription is activated the same day.
