What is total contract value (TCV) ?

TCV is the total value of a customer contract over its entire duration, including all recurring fees and one-time charges.

Total Contract Value (TCV) represents the full monetary value of a contract from start to finish, including recurring subscription fees, one-time setup fees, and professional services. Unlike ACV, TCV reflects the complete contract value rather than the annualized figure.

Example: A customer signs a 3-year contract at $2,000/month plus a $5,000 one-time implementation fee. The TCV is ($2,000 x 36) + $5,000 = $77,000.
