What is seat-based pricing ?

Seat-based pricing charges customers based on the number of users or licenses they have active on a platform.

Seat-based pricing (also called per-user pricing) charges a fixed amount per user or license. It is one of the most common SaaS pricing models and scales naturally as customers grow their team.

Example: A project management tool charges $15 per user per month. A team of 20 pays $300/month, while a team of 100 pays $1,500/month.
