Entitlements are the specific features, usage limits, or access rights granted to a customer as part of their subscription. They enforce the boundaries of what each plan includes and form the basis for metered billing and plan upgrades.

Example: A customer on the Starter plan is entitled to 5 users, 10GB of storage, and access to core features only. When they try to add a 6th user, the system prompts an upgrade to the Growth plan.
