What is billing frequency ?
Billing frequency is how often a customer is charged for a subscription or service, such as monthly, quarterly, or annually.
Billing frequency determines the interval at which charges are applied and invoices are issued. It directly impacts customer cash flow, customer experience, and vendor revenue timing.
Example: A customer on a monthly billing frequency is charged $100 on the 1st of each month, while a customer on annual frequency pays $1,080 upfront once per year.
