Billing cycle
A billing cycle is the recurring period between billing dates during which usage or charges are accumulated and invoiced.
A billing cycle is the defined period, typically monthly, quarterly, or annually, during which charges accumulate before a customer is invoiced or charged. The start and end of the billing cycle determine when invoices are generated.
Example: A customer's billing cycle runs from the 1st to the last day of each month. On the 1st, they receive an invoice for all usage and fees from the previous month.
